Journal d'une femme de chambre

Description

End of the 19th century, France. The maid Celestina, whose spectacular appearance is a constant object of male attention, leaves Paris and joins the service of a family of provincial landowners. In this house, she is forced to maneuver between the interests of the couple, serving the domineering mistress and resisting the molestations of her lustful husband. Feeling like a stranger in this society, Celestina gets close to the silent gardener Joseph, whose determined character captivates the girl.
