Lie to Me

Description

Dr. Lightman is the world's leading lie detector expert. If you lie to Lightman, he can see it in your face or posture, or hear it in your voice. If you shrug your shoulders, turn your hand, or even lift your lower lip slightly, Lightman will detect a lie. By analyzing facial expressions and involuntary body language, he can read feelings ranging from hidden resentment to sexual arousal and jealousy. His work gives him the knowledge and dexterity to both detect lies and skillfully deceive others But, as Lightman well knows, his scientific abilities are both a blessing and a curse in his personal life, where family and friends deceive each other as easily as criminals and strangers. Kaitman leads a team of experts at the Lightman Group firm, which helps federal law enforcement agencies, state agencies and local police find the truth hidden behind lies in the most difficult cases. Working alongside him on the cases are Dr. Gillian Foster (a gifted psychologist and Lightman's business partner), Eli Locker (a lead researcher at Lightman's firm), and Ria Torres (just a novice in this business, but with talent).
