Description

Joyceline and Serge Clure are in trouble: the factory where they worked produced suits for Kenzo (the LVMH group) in Pois-du-Nor, near Valenciennes, but the production was moved to Poland. And so the couple was left without a job. They are mired in debt, and from now on they risk losing their house. At that moment, Francois Ruffen, the founder of the Fakir newspaper, knocks on their door. François is sure that he will save them. Together with a Belgian tax inspector, a delegate from the General Confederation of Labor, a communist nun, and two former salespeople from the Samaritan shopping center, he decides to bring the Clure case to the LVMH general assembly and is determined to touch the heart of the group's chief executive, Bernard Arnault. But will these rebel Davids be able to defeat the billionaire Goliath? Will our gang of four from Picardy succeed in conning the world's leading luxury goods manufacturer and the richest man in France?
