Richard II

Description

Simon Godwin offers a dynamic take on the play, in which brutality borders on irony. Charles Edwards, who starred in Downton Abbey (2010) and Philomena (2013), takes on the lead role in the production, pondering the burden of royalty and the overwhelming forces that can destroy a monarch. The bright colors and colorful costumes used in this historical production look great on the big screen.
