Winter's Bone

Description

The main character of the picture is a seventeen-year-old girl Ri. Her mother is seriously ill, and her father, a drug dealer, is in prison. Due to this state of affairs, Rhee and her younger brother and sister are barely making ends meet. Soon, Ree learns that her father, who was recently released, has disappeared, and the local sheriff informs the girl that if he does not appear in court soon and pay her bond, she and her family will have their house and land taken from them. Because of this, Ree is forced to go in search of her father, who, according to rumors, is no longer among the living... Adaptation of the novel of the same name by Daniel Woodrell.
