David Lynch - The Art Life

Description

David Lynch invites us on a fascinating and very personal journey through his life. From an idyllic upbringing in rural America to the dark streets of Philadelphia, together with the director we trace the events that shaped one of the most enigmatic artists of modern cinema. DAVID LYNCH: A LIFE IN ART takes the best of the director's work, his own music and early films, and helps shed light on the darkest corners of his unique world, giving viewers the opportunity to better understand the man and the artist. In the words of Lynch himself: "I am sure: every time you do something new - draw a picture or something - you start from ideas that you already had in the past; the ideas of the past cast their spells on new ones, give them new colors; even the newest ideas carry the colors and shades of the old ones."
