Egon Schiele: Tod und Mädchen

Description

The beginning of the 20th century. Egon Schiele is one of the most provocative artists in Vienna. His life revolves around two women: his sister and first muse Gertie and 17-year-old Wally, perhaps his only love, immortalized in the famous painting "Death and the Maiden". Schiele's radical paintings cause scandals in Viennese society, but the pioneers - Gustav Klimnt and art dealers - feel that they are dealing with an exceptional talent. Egon Schiele will not just go down in history - he will also sacrifice his life and love for art.
