David Hockney at the Royal Academy of Arts

Description

David Hockney is not only probably the most popular artist in Britain, but also a superstar of world art, whose exhibitions are held in London, New York and other world capitals. Today, the artist is over 80, but he believes that advanced age is not a sufficient reason to slow down or extinguish his famous artistic audacity. Based on two high-profile exhibitions of the artist organized by the Royal Academy of Arts in 2012 and 2016 and based on a series of candid and in-depth interviews with Hockney himself, director Phil Grabsky creates a cinematic portrait of one of the greatest masters of the 21st century.
