Lucky

Description

"Lucky" is a spiritual journey of a 90-year-old atheist and strange characters who inhabit his forgotten desert town. Having survived and smoked all his peers, the uncompromisingly independent Lucky finds himself on the edge of life, which pushes him on a journey of self-discovery - in the direction of an often unattainable enlightenment. Renowned character actor John Carroll Lynch makes his directorial debut with The Lucky One, a love letter to the life and work of Harry Dean Stanton, whose role in the film was one of his last works, and a meditation on morality, loneliness, spirituality and human connection.
