Jacquot de Nantes

Description

Film portrait of the artist's formation. The film shows the early years of Jacques Demy, Ward's husband, in occupied France. Stage scenes, which take place in wartime Nantes, are combined with documentary footage, in particular with the terminally ill Demi.
