La promesse de l'aube

Description

No son in history hated his mother as much as Romain Gary did. From childhood, Nina raised the boy the way she wanted. She dreamed of her son becoming a writer, a diplomat, a hero of France. And she did everything she considered necessary for this. Romain never liked her tyranny, but he grew up to be a beautiful man with a clear moral code. Only in adulthood did he begin to understand what sacrifice his mother made for him, because she was only concerned with his life. Now Romain considers it his duty to live up to his mother's expectations - to publish a brilliant book, to become famous throughout France, to make her proud of him.
