Oilman Paul Sturges' idyllic family vacation turns into a nightmare when they encounter a ferocious megalodon shark that will stop at nothing to protect its territory. Locals say that this is the Black Demon from an ancient legend. The oil rig, which has become a refuge for frightened people, gradually goes under water, where it is attacked by a giant shark. Paul and his family must find a way to get back to shore alive before the shark strikes again in this epic battle between man and nature.
