Description

Allied troops are already 50 kilometers from Berlin, so the war will end soon. A 12-year-old boy on a remote German island struggles to help his sick mother feed the family. Despite the treacherous sea, he hunts seals, goes fishing at night and works on a nearby farm. But when peace finally comes, he realizes that everything he knew from childhood is a lie, and the enemy is much closer than he imagined...
